The chapter breakdown! Sec 1 - this is what separates our manual from most others. It gives you the 4 month off-season broken down into each day. No guessing, everything you are to do each day of the off season prepared for you. I learned many of these exercises in Europe where they have been utilizing the power of plyometrics for 50 years. Just recently have they become popular in North America. SEC 9 STATIC STRETCHING- Learn the proper timing for static stretching-this is very, very important. Learn the best static stretches for hockey. Learn how long to hold positions and why (against the advice of some of these so called experts) you shouldn't hold stretches for more that 5 seconds prior to competition.
